I don't know about you but it's always super exciting to me to discover a new round of piCture pOlish collaborations!
The latest package I received included Lakodom, Never Nude, Honey Moon, Minty, Cyan, Paris, Moscow and Gloss on Top! I'm pretty sure you've all seen swatches of them by now so I decided to do something a little different :D
Lakodom, Never Nude, Honey Moon, Minty and Cyan seemed like the perfect color combo to finally try my hand at sugar spun nail art. I started with 2 coats of Lakodom, sealed them with Gloss on Top! and then "stretched" blobs of color across my nails, one color at a time. I didn't add more topcoat as it would have created a less dramatic 3D look.
I'm so happy with how this turned out. The colors work really well together and the technique was particularly easy! A bit time consuming but sooo easy!
And now the swatches :
Paris is a vibrant pink based coral with flat scattered holographic shimmers, almost neon. I can't think of anything else like it, I love it! Great formula and application, 2 coats plus Gloss on Top! shown below.
Moscow is a deep burgundy base embellished with a mix of holographic and multicolored shimmers. It's absolutely gorgeous and typically the kind of colors I crave this time of the year. Again, flawless application, good pigmentation and a 2 coats coverage.
I hope you enjoyed this post, thanks for looking and don't forget to check out the amazingly talented women who worked with piCture pOlish to create these collaborations!
