Hi guys! I'm back with a nail art today!
There's probably a million ways to use the OPI Sheer Tints but for this review, I decided to show you my take on the leadlight stamping technique rather than just boring swatches.
If you're unfamiliar with leadlight stamping (created by Messy Mansion), all you have to do is scroll down a bit for a step by step break down ^_^
To create this manicure :
- Start with 2 coat of white (here OPI Alpine Snow) and top them with fast drying topcoat. Allow full dry time.
- Stamp your design with black stamping polish. I used the Infinity Nails plate #39 from Dashica.
- Color in the stamping with the OPI Sheer Tints
- Finish with topcoat and voila! I used both matte and regular topcoat. Matte in the black background pictures and regular in the white background.
Overall :
I really loved playing with the OPI Sheer Tints topcoats.
They're not pigmented enough to wear on their own, obviously, but they're just perfect for nail art! I especially like the fact that combined together (overlapped or layered) they create a whole new rainbow of colors : greens, oranges, purples,...
Have you tried the Sheer Tints? What did you think about them?
