We had an amazing weather (finally!) so I decided to swatch some holos yesterday but today I have the latest Superchic Lacquer collection to show you : 5 beautiful "iridescent chrome" shimmers!
We had an amazing weather (finally!) so I decided to swatch some holos yesterday but today I have the latest Superchic Lacquer collection to show you : 5 beautiful "iridescent chrome" shimmers!
The Gaslighted collection is a set of 5 creme based metallic shimmers :
"Figmint Of My Reality" is a perfectly stunning minty shade featuring an amazing blue chrome overcast with strong shimmering fuchsia-violet color shifting iridescence. Opaque in 2-3 thin coats.
A beautiful, dusty, shade of mint, suitable on a wide variety of skin tones. I used 3 thin coats.
"Coming Unblued" is a chrome shimmer cream packed with blue-green iridescent goodness with chrome violet interference color shift. Opaque in 2-3 thin coats.
Subdued like a cloudy sky, this pale blue is enlightened by strong sparkles. Coats used : 3, thin.
"Lost My Melon" is a gorgeous melon-coral shade packing a punch of strong shimmering fuchsia-violet color shifting iridescence with a melon chrome cast. Opaque in 2-3 thin coats.
A beautiful take on your average melon, the muted base is perfect for the early Spring. Shown here : 2 coats.
"Shrinking Violet" is a sheer violet with radiant flashes of blue chrome adorned with blue-green color shifting iridescence. Opaque in 2-3 thin coats.
Lilac doesn't usually look all that great on me but the cool shimmer takes it to another level, nicely balanced and contrasting. I used 3 thin coats.
"Fuchsure Drive Me Insane" is an insanely gorgeous blended fuchsia shade adorned with slight reflections of blue chrome and brilliant flashes of shimmering blue-green color shifting iridescence. Opaque in 2- 3 thin coats.
The darkest polish in the collection and my personal favorite, it also had the best application. 2 coats shown here.
Overall :
No spectacular color shifting or holographic effects in this collection but some really nice shades with beautiful contrasting shimmers. I especially love how bright the shimmer particles look against the muted base colors.
