It seems like I'm in a holo kick lately!
Remember not so long ago when we used to crave for old formula / long discontinued / overpriced collections and it seemed like all of the holo pigments had disappeared from the face of the Earth?
Well thankfully that time is over and there is now plenty of amazing brands and beautiful colors to choose from among which the subject of today's post : Glitter Gal Transfusion & 10 To Midnight!

10 To Midnight is a true medium grey with a strong linear holo. I had been looking for this kind of grey holo for a long time, not silver or black/charcoal and this one's just perfect! Formula was on the sheer side so I had to use 3 thin coats but my guess is it would look great with a slightly thicker medium coat.
Transfusion is a blackened red purple holo. While this one's linear effect is weaker than 10 To Midnight, it's still surprisingly strong for such a vampy base. Formula was top-notch, deep, even and highly pigmented. I used 2 thin coats in my swatches below and no topcoat as mine seemed to dull the rainbow altogether.
Glitter Gal Holographic range retails for $11.95 each for 10 ml and can be purchased directly from glittergal.com.au or through etailers / local stores (full list here).
So how do you fell about these? Or holos in general? ;-)
