I'm SO thrilled to be once again part of this exciting event, it's always so much fun to visit blogs from all around the world and see what everyone has posted for the occasion!!!
This year's theme was to create a nail art with 3 piCture pOlish colors and include a tutorial. But... the OMG part starts now lol :
All nail art creations will go into the running to be chosen to create a collaboration shade with piCture pOlish launched in 2014 (IKR?)
There is 3 (only) awards that will be voted and chosen as follows via the piCture pOlish special Pinterest Blog Fest 2013 board :

For this year's Blog Fest, I wanted to go for something bold but easy to recreate, something everyone could try at home and so neon dotticure it was!
Aren't these neons just too awesome? I mean just look at these gorgeous colors together ♥
To create this manicure, I used :
a white creme nail polish
piCture pOlish Hot Lips, Sunset and Citrus
Step by step :
start with a fully dry white creme polish over your regular base coat
apply large and medium dots with Hot Lips around the cuticle area
continue with large/medium dots of Sunset and Citrus
apply small dots using Hot Lips in between the previous pink dots
proceed with Sunset and Citrus
finish with topcoat
For best results, I recommend slightly overlapping each shade on the next but also playing with the dots placement and orientation on each nail. If you look closely at my pics you will see that my nails almost all have a different design :
thumb/ring : vertical / pink cuticles + orange tips
index : vertical / orange cuticles + pink tips
pinkie : horizontal
middle : diagonal
Super easy isn't it?
