There are countless amazingly talented nail bloggers and nail artists out there. But the one that always leaves me in awe is Camille from pshiiit.com... There's just something about her impeccable taste, painting and photography skills that I just lurve!
So, of course, the minute I learned she had collaborated with piCture pOlish to release an exclusive color, I had to have it. What I still can't explain myself though is why I hadn't posted about it before.
pshiiit is a true chameleon. Highly saturated blue based infused with a bold green shimmer as well as sparse blue to green flakies, it literally made my camera freak out. Depending on the lighting, your skin tone (or maybe just the nail polish fairies!) it will either pull more blue, green or turquoise. Totally versatile and eye catching! Formula was on the sheer side but simply flawless : each coat was perfectly even and just added more gleam and depth to the previous. I used two coats plus topcoat here and I could still see a slight VNL under certain angles but I loved it the way it was so I didn't care for a third one.
Overall :
I still can't get over how gorgeous piCture pOlish pshiiit is. If you have a soft spot for blue, green or even turquoise, there's no doubt you need it. All I can say is you won't be sorry!
Oh and if you don't know Camille or her blog (I mean seriously?), I strongly encourage you to go check it out right now. Here's a link to her introductory pshiiit review but be warned, you'll probably end up spending all evening going through her archives ;-)
piCture pOlish pshiiit retails for AU$12 and can be purchased directly from piCture pOlish.com.au or through their international network.

Love the rings and the nailpolish
ReplyDeletethank you!
DeleteThis is really beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful polish and beautiful swatches. I long ago forgot my high school French, so while I can't entirely keep up with Camille's blog, I do love staring at her beautiful photos and, I dunno, immersing myself in the fantasy world she seems to create with her book. Like a storybook :)
ReplyDeleteWould you by any chance know how similar Pshiiit is to Chanel's Azure (from the summer peacock release)? I know Pshhiiit has a few flakies, but I am more interested in the base color similarities, if any exist....?
Thanks as always for the impeccable swatches!!
Thank you! So, they're completely different in terms of finish for one, Azure is definitely metallic while pshiiit is more jelly (you can definitely see it under the shimmer). Colors are different too : pshiiit looks greener to me. Hope this helps!
DeleteStunning!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous colour :D
