China Glaze Cirque du Soleil Worlds Away Part II : the shimmers & glitters

Hi everyone! How was your weekend so far? Mine was fun, I really enjoyed my Saturday and pretty much went offline to enjoy some quality time with my family ^_^

Today I have the second part of my Cirque du Soleil Worlds Away to share with you. I know that a lot of you have been anticipating to see them, especially the glitters, so here they are!

Whirled Away is a mix of black and white glitter : medium hex and pieces of bar glitter in black and big hex glitter in white. I thought formula would be horrid based on previous reviews but truth is I honestly found it very manageable, the only trouble I experienced was "fishing" the white glitters out of the bottle. Application tip : take a good drop of polish and dab it on your nails. This is one coat over China Glaze Escaping Reality plus topcoat.

Bend Over Backwards is a deep and fiery orange metallic shimmer. It's an amazingly intense red-orange, completely unique in my collection. I just LOVE it! Formula was pure perfection : even, pigmented and saturated, almost a one coater. This is 2 coats plus topcoat.

Get Carried Away is blend of black "sand" glitter as well as silver and orange hex glitter in a sheer black base. As much as I wanted to like this, it doesn't work for me somehow. The combination of dense sand glitter and sheer black base makes application very difficult, I had to be very careful to obtain an even layer. You're looking at one coat over Bend Over Backwards and topcoat.

It’s a Trap-eze is mix of multicolored glitters in a greyish white base, just in the indie glitters trend. I didn't think much about it until I had it on my nails and I big surprise, I love it! Perfectly opaque in two coats, formula wasn't too thick and applied rather nicely. This is 2 coats plus topcoat.

Running in Circles is a bright emerald green base filled with extremely small green glitter. If you love green polish, you will simply love this one! Super bright and saturated! Formula was also amazing and only required 2 coats for perfect coverage.

Water You Waiting For is a mix of different sizes of very small blue, green and purple glitter in a blue base. There was OPI Absolutely Alice and now there's China Glaze Water You Waiting For... This is how much I love it! The color combination is gorgeous and the subtle choice of glitter sizes amazing. I used 3, perfectly even, coats plus topcoat here for a deeper look but it was opaque in 2.

Did you get any of these? I can't wait to hear your thoughts on them!

The China Glaze Cirque du Soleil Worlds Away will be available the first week of December 2012 at salons and specialty beauty retailers nationwide, including Sally Beauty Supply and ULTA stores. Individual nail polish shades will retail for $7.

  1. I'm regretting not picking up the blue and the green glittery polishes when I placed my Cherry Culture order. D'oh!

  9. These are all gorgeous! I really want "It's a Trap-eze" it looks so unique! Bend Over Backwards reminds me of Danke-Shiny Red from the OPI Germany Collection but without the hint of orange.
