Glitter All The Way
Mix of small glitters, mainly purple, green, gold and blue. 3 coats plus topcoat.
Glistening Snow
Silver holographic glitter. 3 coats plus topcoat.
Champagne Kisses
Nude-pink glitter. It looks cool on my skintone somehow. 2 coats plus topcoat.
Angel Wings
Greenish gold holographic glitter. 3 coats plus topcoat.
Winter Holly
Forest green holographic glitter. 3 coats plus topcoat.
Pure Joy
Red and gold glitter. 3 coats plus topcoat.
Overall :
This is definitely the best part of the collection in my opinion. Glitters are perfect for the Holiday and these built up nicely and sparkle like crazy! I especially love Pure Joy and Winter Holly but they're all amazing. The only one I could probably have skipped is Pizzazz.
The China Glaze® Holiday Joy collection is
already available in salons and beauty supply stores nationwide in displays,
open stock as well as numerous gift sets (please
refer to my previous post for the entire gift sets
range)
So, how about these? Any favorites? Are you into the Holiday collections or not yet?

ReplyDeleteThese glitters are FAB! <3
ReplyDeleteMy Sally's got all mixed up on their order for this collection - they only show they are getting 10 of these not all 12. Odd. I have heard that the Angel Wings is a 100% dupe for an Ulta China Glaze from last 2011 holiday called Ultama something - thinking it's Ultima-Holiday maybe - I know I have it and need to look it up on my database. So heads up to that one. I did buy the green glitter, Winter Holly. I think I might get the red one, Pure Joy = I needed to check my other red/gold glitters first before I bought it as I know I have a # of them and don't use them but at 4th of July and Dec holiday season. The glitters here are OK - not totally unique however. I have a ton of multi-colored glitters and don't need another so the first 2 listed here are no buys for me. The gold I have from last yr's Ulta - the pink gold is sort of not a great one for me. If I want a pink gold I would use Orly Rage - a rose silver gold foil that I love. All in all really let down by this collection. I think Zoya had a good holiday collection. I have yet to see Jessica's holiday shades. I sooooo miss the great Christmas collections OPI used to give us each yr. Wish they would go back to even maybe a 4 shade mini collection release.
ReplyDeletehmmm, I have to second the motion on the trustafarian dupe alert. But I think I like Angel Wings better. fab swatches as usual
ReplyDeleteThese colors are amazing! You can never go wrong with glitter for the holiday season and these are great.
