Tribal design and your chance to win your Illamasqua Trio : Caress, Hemlock and Stagnate!!!

Hi everyone!

I have a very special event to announce today. It has been killing me not to be able to share it with you on Twitter or Instagram as I usually do with sneak peeks of my upcoming posts...

I've teamed up with the amazing Illamasqua team to create a nail art, using 3 of their lacquers, and offer you all the possibility to WIN THEM!!!

Using Stagnate, a purple based taupe creme, Hemlock, a sheer nude with a strong green shimmer and Caress, a soft but highly pigmented baby blue creme, I came up with my first Tribal design ever.

To create this design, I first applied one coat of Hemlock on all of my nails and then used a very thin nail art brush to outline the areas that were meant to be covered with Stagnate. All I had left to do was fill them with Stagnate, quickly add Caress with a dotting tool and draw the Tribal pattern with black.

For the black lines, I could have used nail polish, acrylic paint or a nail art pen but I used a Posca pen.
Yes, you heard that right, a POSCA pen! I bought a good dozen of them early in July and they work so great and are so easy to work with that I've mainly been using them ever since. I will very soon post a tutorial on how to use them as well as a comparison between the different sizes they come in ;-)

And now, the rest of the pictures and the Competition!!!

I really love how all 3 shades complement each other, Stagnate is a really beautiful taupe, Caress a gorgeous baby blue and Hemlock truly outstanding with its taupe/nude base and strong green shimmer.

For you chance to win them all (worth £40.50!) just click on the image below and fill in the form on the Illamasqua website, how simple is that?
Good luck everyone! xx

Illamasqua nail lacquers can be purchased directly from their website and retail for £13.50 each (worlwide delivery).
