New Chromatic pigments swatches & review part I

Do you remember a couple of months ago when I reviewed duo and multichrome pigments from the lovely Anna? Well Anna now also carries a brand new line of effect pigments and, of course, I couldn't resist sharing them with you.

I received the pigments in small ziploc bags. They all contained 1g of powder and I used a small amount of that in 5ml / 0.16oz clear nail polish bottles. I believe you should be able to make 3 to 4 full sized bottles of polish, maybe more depending on how much shimmer you'd want in your polish.
1 coat over black in all of these swatches, no topcoat.

Overall :
Once again, I'm completely in love with Anna's pigments. They mix really well, are super sparkly and the duochrome is really strong even though it's kind of camera shy (unless taken under really wiered angles lol).
These pigments can be purchased from Anna's eBay store AnnasArtAsylum (worldwide shipping, low rates) and you can pick your 5 favorites for $25.
Stay tuned for part 2!

  6. I visit Anna's shop daily... but I've yet to 'pull the trigger' so to speak. What does 1 gram of pigment look like? Could you post a pic please? =)

  8. ♥ How do you use them? Just put them into clear nail polish? o,O?

  9. @Lila yes, exactly! You can use suspension base to prevent the pigments from settling but if you don't, you'll just have to give them a good shake and they'll be just like new!
