Guest Post : Jen from ThePolishAholic.com beddazles us with a brilliant layering

I absolutely love Jen's blog and I must confess that I was over the moon when she agreed to write a guest post for me! I'm such a fan of her blog :D

Hey guys! I am so excited to do this guest post for Sam, I loooooove Fashion Polish...I might have even fangirled a little when Sam asked me if I wanted to do a post!

Whenever I do a guest post I always have horrible anxiety about what to do, do I layer or maybe attempt Konad or something crazy like water marbling. I decided to go with layering...lets face it I suck at the other 2, it would not have been a pretty guest post had I gone with those options!

Recently I changed up my set up of how I have my polishes so all my untried ones are staring at me while I do my nails. I had a few sitting in there that I've been dying to use so I decided that I should just wear them all at once! I really love layering even though it's not something I show on my own blog a lot. Usually I wear stuff like this during the week when I'm not swatching polishes to review them.

For this mani I started off with a base of OPI Black Onyx, to that I added a coat of Milani Jewel FX in Lavender and a coat of Nubar White Polka Dots. Because I clearly cannot leave well enough alone I also added a coat of BeYu 209 on top of that, I was hoping the pretty color shift would show up but it didn't :( Instead it turned my White Polka Dots pink!! That was a nice surprise! This mani was a looker, I got asked by so many people what it was and how I did it!

The first 2 photos below are in the shade and the last one is in the sun, check out that pretty shimmer from the BeYu in the sun...I love it!
