Guest Post : Deborah from Love, Varnish, Chocolate and more treats us with a gorgeous layering

Hi girls! Today, I'm sharing with you a blog I really love. Deborah is a relatively new nail polish blogger but she always posts beautiful swatches, I surely wasn't that talented when I began!

When Sam DMed me on Twitter I couldn't believe it at first. My eyes got big, I started wobbling in my chair and literally squealed of excitement. When my boyfriend entered the room I screamed (yes I was screaming) that the queen of blogging asked me, simple plain me, to do a guest post! The reason I was even more happy about this is because well, I don't do nailart. I don't do exceptional manicures. I paint my nails and show it to you. And apparently that's interesting enough for my followers, including Sam, to like it enough to see more of it!

Obviously I thought hard and long about what my guest post should be and I did consider doing some nailart, like stamping or something, but that's just not me. It happens on occasion but I am just not so good at it. I do love to layer though and I thought that would suit my guest post best. I recently did a combo I loved, Dior Purple Mix topped with CND Gold Sparkle, and I figured that CND Gold Sparkle would look good on another luxurious creme too.

That luxurious creme I thought about is a england Galahad. It's a gorgeous polish that is somewhere between teal and turquoise and needs 2 easy buttery coats for opaqueness. Topped with CND Gold Sparkle, applied in 1 thicker coat here, it gives a subtle yet super classy manicure that is perfect for all seasons.

I hope you enjoyed this manicure! I sure did enjoy writing this guest post for Sam and am still very happy to see that you don't have to do extravagant manicures to accomplish something in the blogging world!

Deborah your mani rocks! I think I need to try that CND Gold Sparkle bottle of mine, you certainly did it justice♥

  10. Layering: the art challenged girl's method for sweet sweet looking nails! Everytime I try to do some artsy thing, it gets weird and smeary or just doesn't work, but I've got many layering polishes and can create a plethora of looks that way! I've also got nails at a similar length to yours. Any longer and they'll start chipping and flaking like crazy, so I love seeing nail bloggers with moderate length!
