Dr's. REMEDY Jolly & Joy 2011 Holiday Collection Review

Are you familiar with Dr's. REMEDY nail polish line?

This Holiday Dr's. REMEDY has released a new collection featuring 5 new shades : 3 shimmers and 2 glitters. A couple of them really caught my attention so when I received the press release I instantly knew I had to share them with you girls.

I was really impressed with the formula this time, huge win! All easy two coaters (unless otherwise specified) and applied like butter. The swatches are without topcoat.

REVIVE Ruby Red is, in my humble opinion, simply perfect. I think I made it pretty clear how much I love A England Perceval, well this is like a darker version of it : utterly gorgeous, glowy with the "dark-in-the-edges" extra depth. The pictures speak for themselves.

PASSION Purple is the only shade in this collection that I can't bring myself to like. It's nice, please don't get me wrong and formula was just as perfect as the others but it just doesn't work on my skin tone, or rather I like it better in the bottle than on my nails. 

ESSENTIAL Emerald is a very unusual color, a kind of dark spring green with silver shimmer. Definitely unexpected but I like that it's different from your average Holiday green.

RESOLUTION Red Glitter isn't red at all. It's more a silvery pink glitter leaning to rose. Now this is a great glitter! Really dense and so manageable, it covered perfectly in two coats. Can you believe that? I love it.

SERENE Silver Glitter is the "unless stated otherwise". I have no idea ow they managed to formulate it but this glitter is a one coater! I mean wow!!! Not only is it a beautiful mix of silver, blue and purple but it allows endless possibilities : stamping, tape manis, half moons or ruffians,... I am seriously impressed and I don't think any gliter lover should pass on it.

Overall :
I am definitely in love with Ruby Red and both the glitters. It might be the nail addict in me speaking but I think I'd be sad if I didn't own them ;-)
If you've never tried the brand and are curious about it, I suggest one of those.
