#FF : Moonstone

Hi girls! This week I decided to play with spectraflair a bit more. I wanted to franken a topcoat so I just used clear nail polish and pigment.

Here it is, one coat over Misa Office Polish-tics :

I'll try and post a few more color combinations with Moonstone in the next few days. If you have any requests, I'd love to read about them in the comments.
I wish you all a great weekend!

If you want to have more informations about spectraflair, you can read my previous post here or better yet have a look on MUA.

I've been wanting to do a holo topcoat with my spectraflair. Would you mind telling which clear topcoat you used?

  3. @ChaosButterfly I just used clear polish, not topcoat. I don't think topcoats should be used for frankens.

  5. I have a question about frankening...I have some glitters that I used to use in my craft business, but I'm wondering if you use a glitter that is heavy, as opposed to a lighter flake, will it fall and be too heavy to create a good polish?

  6. Make a dark green holo!!! Unless you've already done that, which I'm sure I would have remembered.

  14. @Ru$h duly noted!
@polarbelle Glitters can settle/sink at the bottom of the bottle if you use regular polish. If you don't want them to sink, you can get a special supension base (TKB has some)or start your franken with a polish that already has a bit of glitter (and then suspending agent in its formula). Otherwise you'll have to shake your bottles everytime you want to use them :(
@thenailaholic The same seller has them on ecrater. There's a link at the end of last week's FF post.
@StineN franken=frankenpolish. It's a nail polish that you create by mixing several polishes together or polish with glitter/pigment.

  19. @Anonymous It's a franken, that means that it's a polish I created by mixing polishes or in this case polish+pigment.
