A few weeks ago, I bought my first a-england nail polishes. We're always curious about new brands, aren't we? Especially when the shades look so promising and the concept is so strong.
Well, my first experience with the brand was a hit, you can read the review here if you haven't already.
Today, I have 3 more nail polishes for review : Lancelot, Galahad and Guinevere.
Lancelot is a blackened wine red, vampy, dark and mysterious. Formula was super pigmented and really easy to work with, it went exactly where I wanted it to, no floaded cuticles here... And I'm sure you know how awful that can be with dark colors. I love black nail polishes and this "faux-black" is no exception.

Galahad is one of the a-england polishes that appealed the most to me when I first discovered the brand. It's a gorgeous turquoise creme. It's so creamy and shinny... Bright but with a slight dustiness at the same time. Again, formula was very pigmented, almost a one coater.

Guinevere is a very soft muted mauve. It's so pretty on the nail... Delicate and perfect for Spring. Formula was a bit different than the other two, less pigmented but an easy two coater. It also dried to a glossy finish.

Overall :
I don't know about you but I love all 3 of these polishes. The colors are gorgeous, the formulas do not disappoint and the customer service is amazing.

Those are fantastic! I'll definitely need to add a-england to my wishlist.
ReplyDeleteThat light lilac one is lovely! My favourite of the there
ReplyDeleteI read another review of this series and loved it! It's too bad the company only accepts Paypal, which I don't use. Nor do they sell here in Canada. :(
ReplyDeleteI have a soft spot for those names! They're very fun and very England. I'd have to say Galahad is my favorite of the three.
ReplyDeleteJ'aime beaucoup le bleu!
ReplyDelete@Liz (Beauty Reductionista) I pretty sure they ship worldwide but it's true that they only take Paypal.
ReplyDeleteI love Lancelot and Galahad, they're both gorgeously pigmented. I guess I'm going to have to cave and check out this brand!
