Since you askd for it, here it is, my dusty purple holographic franken. I called it Aurora in reference to the polar lights.
I intended it to be dark and vampy, kind of an Essie Smoking Hot holo.
This is 2 coats, no underwear or layering, with INM Out The Door topcoat (doesn't dull linear holos).
*warning* Lots of pics ahead !

The recipe on this one is a bit complicated :
1/2 of OPI DS Sapphire
1/4 of a jelly black (or a 2 coater), I used OPI Black Onyx
then add a few drops of solid grey and purple but one at a time
I used 4 drops of Gosh Miss Grey and 3 drops of American Apparel African Violet.
When you add the grey and purple, make sure to swatch on a wheel between each drop.
If you mess up bit, you can add some DS Sapphire.
I hope you enjoyed this franken!
Gorgeous! Looks like DS Original!

ReplyDeleteBest franken I've EVER seen and quite possibly one of the most beautiful polishes I've ever seen. How much do you want for it? ;)
ReplyDeletethat's gorgeous! I love it! I don't dare because I have no talent for blending...
ReplyDeletelooks perfect!! good job ;)
ReplyDeleteMaybe you shouldn't take credit for a franken recipe that you didn't come up with. Give your fellow nail boarders some credit.
ReplyDelete@Anonymous You must be referring to the MPJ franken recipe that's been given on MUA, I "think" that recipe id half OPI DS and half black, the ratio in Aurora is far from that and I haven't seen any grey or purple in MPJ... Next time you "anonymously" accuse me of something, I'd appreciate if you got your facts right. Just like you seem to hate other people's work stolen, I hate being called a thief for something I actually came up with.
