From the vault : Nars Saratoga swatches and comparison

I'm not really that into red or pink nail polishes. There's something about these two shades that makes me feel conformistic. But I do appriciate a nice red like Nars Saratoga when I see it.

Saratoga is described as a shimerry ruby red, it's more of a magenta actually, packed with tons of red, gold and purple shimmer particles.It's a really glossy, sexy red although not quite dark enough to be vampy.
Wiered thing is that I really can't remember when or where I bought it, it was just there behind my other Nars nail polishes, waiting to be tried for the fist time... Somehow the gold shimmer appealed to me.

As you can see, the bottle close-up really accentuates the magenta base.
